About a week ago I thought I'd draw a new art print for my etsy shop, so
I sketched a panda! I used to draw guys like this one all the time
when I worked drawing caricatures art the San Diego zoo. A lot of times
I worked right next to the panda enclosure.
Sometimes I draw freehand directly into Photoshop using a tablet, but a
lot of times I do a pencil sketch first, then scan that in to use as
a guide.
I've been focusing a lot on color and shapes lately, trying to get a nice contrast and pop with each piece!
